# API Settings Overview

You'll need a Threadeo account before proceeding.
Contact your business team or email us at support@threadeo.com to get an account.

Your [API Settings](https://app.threadeo.com/profile/api-settings) page (app.threadeo.com, sign in required) has three components:

1. [API Key and Secret Token](https://dev.threadeo.com/reference#api-key-and-secret-token)
2. [Authorized Domains](https://dev.threadeo.com/reference#authorized-domains)

> Unauthorized usage of credentials or modification of any [API settings](https://app.threadeo.com/profile/api-settings) is a violation of your organization's Threadeo API License Agreement, and could lead to unexpected nonrefundable charges and/or removal from the platform.

> 🚧 Avoid changing settings on shared accounts

> [API settings](https://app.threadeo.com/profile/api-settings) are unique to each individual Threadeo user account. If you are using a shared Threadeo account under permission, use extreme caution before changing anything, because it could result in other shared users being locked out.
